I read a lot about FOREX education and how it is essential to succeed and of course this is true, but most people don’t really understand what they should learn and how to do it.

So here are some guidelines, on how to work smart and not hard to achieve FOREX trading success.

When you are looking for FOREX education you can get most of it for free on the net.

Don’t be tempted to buy e-books or “sure fire” trading methods from guru’s.

Why?

Because the FOREX education they offer is normally going to cost you and it’s not worth the money.

Most of it is written by great salesman (with great copy) or failed brokers.

In most cases, if it was that good they wouldn’t be selling it; they would keep quite and make money for themselves.

Harsh but true!

If you do want to buy from a guru on the web make sure they have a real time track record that has made money and not a simulation.

The good news is:

There is a huge resource of information on the web you can tap into and it’s all free.

As a novice trader you can learn everything about technical analysis and indicators and see how they have performed in real time.

You can also find lots of material on the traits of successful traders and how you can acquire these traits to make money.

You can then build a trading system for free from this FOREX education and even learn how to apply it.

Paid education that is worth the money.

Look no further than an online bookstore.

There are many great books you can buy from traders who have made money.

Unlike the guru’s on the net who rely on hyped sales copy these guys don’t need to:

They have made real money and lots of it.

This book is interviews with some of the all time great traders and allows you to tap into and learn from the best.

Quite simply, inspiring and essential FOREX education.

2. Trader Vic – Victor Sperandeo

Perhaps my favourite book of all time.

EVERYTHING you need to know about devising a plan for profit is in this book.

From the essentials of a trading plan, to money management and how to acquire discipline to stick with your plan and achieve trading success.

Again, essential FOREX education.

Other authors to check out are:

John Murphy (for his writing’s on technical analysis) Max Günter (check him out for some un conventional money making tips!) Jake Bernstein (great insight into the mindset you need to win) and finally, William Gallagher’s excellent book Winner Takes All – A very entertaining read.

There are many more but the above will give you some great FOREX education.

My own view in terms of FOREX education is to get all the info for free of the net to construct and implement your plan.

Then round it off with some FOREX education from traders who have been their, done it and made money.

My Book’s Published – Now What?

“My Book’s Published – Now What???” by John Harnish with Jane M. Martin is an easy, but important read.

The target market is every newly published author. John clearly explains the facts of life for authors. I’ve read it cover to cover and he covers it all.

It covers bias bending, copyediting, understanding your book numbers, different publishing methods for differing author needs, the positive differences of author-originated publishing, your first book order, how to sell your own book (and you must), reviews, book design, publicity, exposure, conferences networking, Infinity’s role in supporting social responsibilities, increasing your books’ revenue flows, and an assortment of questions and answers. In other words, it is a treasure of knowledge, references, and insightful knowledge based on experience.

One thing I have learned along this writing path, is the importance of continual reading in our market and well as others. John’s book certainly provides plenty of insight. I’ve placed about sixty sticky tabs for quick reference, when referring to certain aspects he covers. Some things I knew and were reminders. Others were new welcome knowledge. I’m just getting ready to re-read my tabs.

Maximize intake of water and unstained fruit juices in your daily diet to eliminate metabolic toxins from the body. Unstained fruit juice is rich in fibre and is very useful in the overall digestion process.

o Eat foods rich in unsaturated fatty acids preferably the omega-3-fatty acids found in oily fish as Salmon, tuna. Cod liver oil marketed under various brand names also contain the oil of the similar types. Omega-3-fatty acids are not synthesized in the body, they have to be supplemented externally.

o Make regular use of spices like turmeric, cumin, grated coconut, curry leaves, mustard seeds and black pepper whilst cooking vegetables. Research studies show that regular consumption of Indian gooseberry popularly called amla reverses the process of greying of hair.

o Too hot and too cold foods get in the way of process of digestion. Care should be taken not to consume anything that is detrimental in the effective absorption of food.

Calotropis – The Medicinal Weed

Calotropis is primarily harvested owing to its distinctive medicinal properties. It is commonly referred to as ark, swallow-wart or milkweed. The roots besides being endowed with similar qualities serves as an effective laxative. Traditionally the dried root is powdered and effectively used to cure bronchitis, asthma, leprosy, eczema and elephantiasis. The ark latex is processed and finds use in treating vertigo, baldness, hair fall, tooth aches, intermittent fevers, rheumatoid /joint swellings and paralysis. Leaves of ark are heated in oil and are of much medicinal value in treating joint pain and in reduce its swelling. Besides Ayurveda, Homeopathy also makes use of Calotropis as medicine. The pungent latex extracted from the leaves and flowers of Calotropis procera is processed and used in the commercial preparation of eye tonics. The alcoholic extracts of the plants have known to induce spermicidal and anti-microbial properties as well. Study on the ovariectomized female rats with the alcoholic extract of Calotropis procera is known to simulate the estrogenic activity in the reproductive track. This was evident from the increased protein content and increased uterine weight of the target animal under study. In addition there was alteration in the biochemical environment of the track which probably leads to antifertility.

The inner bark of Calotropis is used to make strong fibers called madar and is used to make weave carpets, ropes, sewing thread and fishing nets.

However the side effects of its consumption it is reported to have caused blisters, lesions and eruptions when consumed by patients on treatment of joint pains and gastrointestinal ailments. The preparations of Calotropis procera is to be used under the careful surveillance of a capable medical practitioner. Calotropis is a home to many insects.
